In recent conversations, we’ve realised that simply stating meat is “pre-stunned” is no longer sufficient for many people who want full clarity on animal welfare and whether products are Halal. We take this feedback seriously and want to be completely transparent.
Our Stunning Methods: Humane & Irreversible
All of our organic farmers are required to meet strict welfare standards. When it comes to slaughter, animal welfare is our absolute priority:

Beef, lamb, and pork are pre-stunned using irreversible stunning methods before slaughter. This ensures the animal is completely unconscious before being dispatched quickly with a bolt to the head.

Poultry are stunned and then their heads are swiftly and humanely cut, minimising stress.

Wild game is ethically shot. Our game keepers do not use led-shots.
We want to be clear: our meat is not Halal, and all animals are stunned quickly and irreversibly before slaughter, ensuring they experience the least possible stress. Our organic slaughter processes are designed to be efficient, calm, and humane, meeting the highest welfare standards at every stage.
