Our packaging
Cold to your door. Kind to the planet.
Fresh meat delivery only works if the cold chain holds and the packaging doesn't cost the earth. Here's exactly how yours arrives.

Inside the box
What keeps it fresh
Wool-insulated box
A kerbside-recyclable outer, insulated with 100% sheep's wool — nature's own temperature control keeps the cold in and the summer out.
Ice packs & chill
Food-safe ice packs hold everything below 5°C for up to 48 hours in transit.
Paper-wrapped cuts
Each cut is wrapped and sealed the morning it ships — open, unpack, refrigerate.
Packaging questions
The details
What do I do with the packaging?
The outer box and liner go in your kerbside recycling. Ice packs can be refrozen and reused, or emptied and recycled.
What if I'm not home when it arrives?
The insulation holds for up to 48 hours, so your order stays chilled in a safe place until you're back.
Is any of it plastic?
No single-use plastic liners. Where a seal is unavoidable for food safety, we use the minimum — and we're working on that too.
Fresh, guaranteed
