This July, we proudly celebrate 10 years of The Butchery—a decade of dedication to honest, organic meat and fish, and a journey shaped by passion, progress, and an unwavering commitment to our customers.

From humble beginnings to becoming one of the UK’s trusted names in organic butchery, this milestone isn’t just about looking back—it’s about recognising everything we’ve learned and sharing our excitement for what’s to come.


A Decade of Lessons (and Great Meat)

Over the last ten years, we’ve learnt a lot about what good meat truly means. We now know better than ever that great-tasting produce starts with ethical farming, careful sourcing, and respect for seasonality. We’ve seen firsthand the impact of working with small-scale farmers and fishers who prioritise welfare and sustainability.

We’ve also become firm believers that organic shouldn’t mean unattainable. From developing new products to offering flexible delivery options, we’ve always strived to bridge the gap between premium quality and everyday accessibility.

In response, we’ve launched a monthly newsletter, boosted our presence on social media, and expanded our range of meat and fish boxes—including your favourite Monthly Meat Box, BBQ selections, and Family Favourites. We’re proud to adapt with you and for you.

Behind the scenes, our team has grown stronger every year. Some of our staff have been with us since the very beginning, bonded by shared values and a love of great food. Together, we’ve navigated seasonal challenges, from Christmas surgesto limited stock availability, all while improving our service, investing in new tools, and staying true to our craft.

We’ve also updated our delivery system, introducing options like our Saver Delivery, and rolled out 'Buy More, Save More' discounts—ensuring we can continue to offer value without compromising on ethics or quality.
