Slow-grown to maturity under certified organic standards, cockerel develops a deeper, richer flavour than an everyday chicken while remaining wonderfully succulent. Its generous size and naturally flavoursome meat make it an impressive alternative to turkey—particularly for smaller gatherings or those seeking something distinctive.
Roast simply with butter, herbs and seasoning, allowing the quality of the bird to take centre stage. Serve with crisp roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and plenty of proper gravy for a memorable Christmas feast.

Once your order arrives, unpack your fresh products and place them in the fridge at 0–5°C as soon as possible.
The minimum shelf life for each fresh product is shown in the description and includes your delivery day. Every pack is also labelled with its own use-by date. Please enjoy or freeze your fresh meat before this date.
If you don't plan to use your fresh meat before the use-by date, we recommend freezing it as soon as possible after delivery to preserve its quality. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking and do not refreeze once fully thawed.
