Our Products
What do our animals eat?
- Beef & lamb: 100% grass-fed for a natural, nutrient-rich diet.
- Pork & poultry: Fed organic grains, as they require more than just grass for a balanced diet.
- Wild venison: Wild venison comes from deer that live freely in their natural habitat - which means their diet is entirely diverse, seasonal and naturally occurring.
What is Organic?
Organic food is produced using farming practices that prioritize environmental sustainability and high standards of animal welfare, all certified by the Soil Association ( www.soilassociation.org ).
Rather than using synthetic fertilizers, organic farming relies on natural inputs like compost, manure, and crop rotation. It also ensures that animals are genuinely free-range, with plenty of space and access to outdoor fields. Strict legal standards are in place to maintain the highest quality of organic produce.

Do you offer Halal or other religious slaughter methods?
No, we do not offer this on any of our products.
Are you a gluten-free butchery?
No. Whilst the main butchery area is gluten-free, we cannot describe ourselves as a gluten-free site. The majority of our fresh meat is prepared in our main butchery, where no gluten-containing ingredients are used. Our fresh cuts of meat are butchered in this area and do not come into contact with processed meat products. However, we do produce a small number of processed products, such as our Venison Burgers and Chicken Burgers, which contain gluten. The gluten-containing ingredients are stored separately in our storeroom, away from the main butchery area, before being taken to our dedicated processing room where they are mixed with the meat and formed into burgers. To minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we follow strict production procedures, including:
- Storing gluten-containing ingredients separately from fresh meat.
- Producing gluten-containing products at the end of the production day.
- Carrying out a thorough clean-down of all processing equipment and room before non-gluten products are prepared.
- only 1 member of staff is in the processing area making these items
- Keeping fresh meat preparation separate from processed meat production.
Whilst we take every precaution to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, because gluten-containing ingredients are handled on-site, we cannot state that we are a gluten-free site.If you have coeliac disease or a severe gluten allergy and would like further information about a specific product, please contact our Customer Care team before placing your order. We'll be happy to help you make an informed choice.
