Ordering
Can I place an order now for Christmas delivery?
Yes. Our Christmas range is now available to order, with Christmas deliveries scheduled for December. Some Christmas products have specific delivery restrictions, so please check the product information when ordering.
Can I add items to my Christmas order after placing it?
If you need to add something to an existing order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to help, although once an order has passed the cut-off date (4 days before delivery) it may no longer be possible to make changes.
Can I change my delivery date once my order is placed?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery date. We can amend the date where possible, provided the order has not already entered processing; 4 days prior to the delivery date.
Can I order a parcel for someone else?
Yes. You can place an order for delivery directly to someone else. Please make sure the delivery address and contact details are correct and include any useful delivery instructions.
Do you offer Christmas gift vouchers?
Yes, we offer gift vouchers, making them a great option for Christmas gifting. Vouchers can be purchased online and sent to the recipient.
Can I collect?
We are an online-only business and do not currently offer customer collection. However, we always try to help when we can, so please contact our customer care team and they will be able to assist you further.
Delivery
How will my Christmas order be packaged?
Your order will be carefully packed in insulated packaging with ice packs to help keep the contents chilled during transit. This allows the contents of the box to remain at or below 8°C during delivery for a maximum of 48 hours.
What if I'm not home when my Christmas delivery arrives?
You will receive tracking information for your delivery, which will allow you to follow your parcel. You can also arrange for your order to be delivered to a neighbour, or request that it is left in a safe place and add delivery instructions.
If no delivery instructions have been provided, our delivery driver will use their judgement and leave the parcel in a location they feel is safe. As our products are perishable, the courier is unable to return the parcel to the depot if nobody is home to receive it.
We therefore recommend adding clear delivery instructions, or arranging for someone to be available to receive your Christmas order wherever possible.
My order did not arrive; what should I do?
If your order has not arrived when expected, please contact us as soon as possible. We can check the delivery status with the courier and investigate this for you.
My order will now be arriving a day late; is it still safe?
We understand how concerning a delayed delivery can be, particularly when it contains fresh food. Our boxes are packed with insulation and ice packs to help maintain the correct temperature during transit. If your order arrives later than expected, please check the temperature and condition of the contents before deciding whether to use them. If you have any concerns, contact us straight away.
What if I am not happy with my order?
We are sorry if something isn't right with your order. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details of the issue. For product-quality concerns, photographs of the product and packaging, including the label, are particularly helpful so that we can investigate this for you. Please do not dispose of any items until one of our customer care team instructs you to.
Storing & freezing
How do I store my turkey?
Once your turkey arrives, keep it refrigerated at all times and follow the storage instructions and use-by date shown on the packaging. You must open the bag the turkey is in, remove the giblets and place it on a tray on the bottom shelf of the fridge. A natural aroma when first opened is normal for fresh organic poultry and should dissipate once aired.
Can I freeze the meat I order for Christmas?
Yes, providing the product is supplied fresh and has not previously been frozen. Always check the product information, as previously frozen products must not be refrozen.
My turkey smells; is this natural?
A fresh turkey can sometimes have a natural or slightly stronger smell when first opened from its packaging. This does not necessarily mean that there is a problem with the meat. Allow it to air after opening and follow the storage instructions. If the smell remains strong or unusual, please contact us before cooking it.
What does “previously frozen” mean?
“Previously frozen” means the product has been frozen at an earlier stage before being supplied to you. It will be supplied fully or partially defrosted, rather than frozen. Previously frozen meat should be kept in the fridge and used within 3 days of delivery; it must not be refrozen.
