🦌 Venison & Root Vegetable Stew

This slow-cooked venison stew is packed with autumnal flavours. The deep, earthy taste of venison pairs beautifully with sweet root vegetables, creating a warming, comforting dish.

Ingredients:

  • 600g organic venison diced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 carrots, chopped

  • 2 parsnips, chopped

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 500ml organic beef stock

  • 250ml red wine

  • 2 sprigs rosemary

  • 1 tsp juniper berries (optional)

  • Salt & pepper

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a large pan and brown the venison.

  2. Remove meat and sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  3. Add carrots, parsnips, and venison back to the pan.

  4. Pour in stock, wine, and add rosemary and juniper berries.

  5. Simmer for 2–3 hours until meat is tender and flavours meld.

Serve in a rustic bowl with a slice of crusty sourdough.


🐖 Devil’s Organic Pork Ribs

Sticky, spicy, and delightfully wicked

These ribs are perfect for a Halloween feast — sticky, finger-licking, and packed with flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5kg organic pork ribs

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix all marinade ingredients and coat the ribs.

  3. Roast covered for 1½ hours, then uncover and glaze for a further 20 minutes.

Serve on a platter with autumn vegetables or corn on the cob.


🐔 Pumpkin & Organic Chicken Thigh Tray Bake

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. Toss pumpkin and onion with oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Arrange chicken on top and bake for 35–40 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Serve in bowls sprinkled with fresh thyme.

Nothing says cosy like a classic hotpot. This beef version is slow-cooked in Guinness for extra depth and autumnal richness.

Ingredients:

  • 800g organic beef diced

  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 2 onions, sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 500ml beef stock

  • 250ml Guinness

  • 2 tsp thyme

  • Salt & pepper

Method:

  1. Brown the beef in a pan, remove and set aside.

  2. Layer onions, potatoes, and beef in a casserole dish.

  3. Mix stock, Guinness, and thyme, pour over the layers.

  4. Cover and bake at 180°C for 2 hours until tender.

Serve straight from the oven with gravy and crusty bread.


💀 Mummy Sausages (Halloween Special)

Ingredients:

  • 6 organic sausages, skins removed

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

Method:

  1. Roll sausage meat into short logs.

  2. Wrap with thin strips of pastry.

  3. Brush with egg, bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes.

  4. Add mustard seed eyes once cooled.
