Healthy Turkey & Herb Patties

Looking for a light, flavourful, and family-friendly meal? Our organic turkey breast mince is perfect for creating lean, protein-packed dishes that everyone will love. These turkey and herb patties are quick to make, packed with nutrients, and bring out the natural flavour of organic turkey — a real step up from conventional mince.

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 250g organic turkey breast mince

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (or oat flour for gluten-free)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil, for frying

Optional for serving:

  • Salad leaves or roasted vegetables

  • Wholemeal buns or wraps

  • Yogurt and herb sauce

Method

  1. Prepare the mixture:
In a bowl, combine the turkey mince, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined. Avoid overworking the meat to keep the patties tender.

  2. Form the patties:
Divide the mixture into 2–3 even portions and shape into round patties, about 1.5–2cm thick.

  3. Cook the patties:
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Turkey mince should reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).

  4. Serve and enjoy:
Serve the patties hot with salad, roasted vegetables, or in wholemeal buns for a healthier twist on classic burgers. Add a dollop of yogurt-herb sauce for extra flavour.
