Ordering & Delivery
What is the last day I can place an order for Christmas?
You can place your order up to 20th December. After this date, we will still accept Turkey orders only.
Can I place an order now for Christmas delivery?
Yes. Christmas pre-orders open from 1st October. Customers signed up to our VIP early access programme can begin ordering from September.
Can I change my delivery date once my order is placed?
Yes. Delivery dates may be changed up to 5 days prior to your original chosen date. Please contact us by phone, email, or live chat with your order number and updated delivery details.
Can I add items to my order once placed?
Yes. Orders can be amended up to 5 days prior to delivery via the link in your order confirmation email, or by contacting our customer care team directly.
What happens if my parcel is delayed?
Our packaging ensures products remain chilled for 48 hours. Occasionally, parcels may arrive a day later than scheduled due to courier delays. If your order is delayed beyond this timeframe, please contact us so we can assist.
What if I am not home when my Christmas order arrives?
Your parcel will be securely packed to remain chilled and can be left in a designated safe place if you are not home. Delivery preferences can be selected directly with your courier.
Freshness & Storage
How will my Christmas order be packed?
Orders are dispatched in wool-lined boxes with gel ice packs, designed to keep contents chilled for 48 hours. Most parcels are delivered on a 24-hour service (excluding certain postcodes).
Will my meat stay fresh until Christmas?

Deliveries on or after 19th December will remain fresh with a minimum use by date of 26th December.

Deliveries before 19th December should be frozen upon arrival to maintain quality.
Can I freeze the meat I order?
Yes. Freezing does not affect the quality of organic meat. Please ensure it is fully defrosted and brought to room temperature before cooking.
How should I store the bird when it arrives?
Keep the bird in its original bag (do not reseal to allow airflow) and place it on the lower shelves of the fridge, where the temperature is coldest. If delivered before 19th December, freeze immediately.
Do I need to wash the bird before cooking?
No. Safe cooking temperatures will ensure the bird is ready to eat.
My packaging bag is open – is this normal?
Yes. The packaging is left slightly open to prevent the bird from sweating.
My bird smells stronger than expected – is this normal?
Yes. Organic birds are naturally reared without preservatives or pesticides, resulting in a more pronounced aroma compared to conventional meat.

Do you offer Christmas hampers or festive bundles?
Yes. Please see our Gifting section for hampers and curated Christmas bundles.
Do you offer Christmas gift vouchers?
Yes. Vouchers are also available in the Gifting section, ideal for those who wish to give the gift of organic food.
Are the goose products organic?
Not certified, but they are raised to the same welfare and feeding standards as organic. The land they are raised on is not currently certified, which is why they cannot carry full organic status.
Are your sausages gluten free?
Yes, though we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination.
Are glazes pre-applied to meats?
No. Glazes are supplied separately, allowing you to apply them during cooking for optimal flavour. Instructions are included with relevant products.
