Can I add to my order once placed? Yes, 5 days prior via the link on your order confirmation email or you can call one of our friendly customer care members.
How will my Christmas order be packed? Wool lining and iced gel packs keep orders chilled for 48 hours. Majority orders are despatched on a 24 hours service (excluding some postcodes), so please don’t be alarmed if your order arrives later in the day or occasionally delayed a day by the courier. Our packaging is designed for this.
Will my meat stay fresh until Christmas? Depending on delivery, we advise a delivery on or after the 19th will remain fresh with a minimum use by date of the 26th of December. Before the 19th, needs to be frozen. Freezing will not effect the quality of your meat.
What happens if my parcel is delayed? Please allow 48 hours for parcels to be delivered. This means, it could be delivered the day after your chosen delivery day. After this, please get in contact with us via contact information provided so we can assist you.
What if I'm not home when my Christmas order arrives? Select delivery options through your chosen delivery partner. Your parcel will be kept chilled within its packaging if left in a safe place.
Can I freeze the meat I order for Christmas? Yes. Despite belief, freezing your organic meat will not affect the quality. Please however allow the meat to fully defrost and come to room temp before cooking.
Do you offer Christmas hampers or special bundles? Yes, please see under gifting section on website.
Do you offer Christmas gift vouchers? Yes, please see under gifting section on website.
How do I store the bird when it arrives? Leave in bag and do not seal the bag to allow airflow. Either keep in fridge (lower shelves better for coldest temp) OR freeze if delivered prior the 19th of December.
Do I need to wash the birds before I cook them? No, cooking at the right temperature is the safest way.
My bag is open, is this normal? Yes, this is so the bird doesn't sweat.
My bird smells? This is completely normal, due to the natural growth of the bird without pesticides. Organic meat tends to have a stronger smell than conventional as we do not use any preservatives either.
Are the Goose products, organic? No, they are raised to the same standards, including feed, but not certified due to the land they are kept on not being certified yet.
Are your sausages gluten free? Yes, but we cannot guarantee cross contamination.
Are the glazes already on the food, or do I do it myself? The glazes are separate, enabling you to add to the meat when needed in the cooking process. Cooking instructions for glazed meats are provided in descriptions.
