Organic Mutton Bones

Our mutton comes from ewes who have spent several years grazing on our organic, clover-rich organic grass which gives a distinctively rich flavour. Grab some organic mutton bones, add your herbs of choice, cover with water and simmer for as long as you dare. The result? Some of the heartiest (and purest) stock you'll ever taste. Portioned up and stored in the freezer, this will be your go-to ingredient for making sauces and soups that really deliver on flavour. Sunday lunch had better watch out: your gravy will never have tasted so good.

At The Organic Butchery, we believe in using the most sustainable methods possible whilst organically rearing our animals; we aim to use as much of the carcass as possible, to reduce wastage. The breeds we've chosen make the most of our abundant West Country pasture, thriving on a diet of grass as well as clover and herbs.
